Carlos Grilo is a Coordinator Professor at Polytechnic of Leiria, Portugal, where he teaches subjects related to artificial intelligence, machine learning and programming. He graduated in Computer Science at the University of Coimbra, received his MSc in Computer Science from the University of Coimbra, and his PhD from the University of Lisbon. He is a researcher in the Computer Science and Communication Research Centre. He has about 50 publications in journals, books and conference proceedings related to Intelligent Systems, Evolutionary Computing and Machine Learning. He has served in several committees of international conferences.
