Nuno Rodrigues (PhD, male) is a Coordinator Professor, in the Department of Computer Science Engineering, at the Superior School of Technology and Management of the Leiria Polytechnic Institute. Recently he is teaching Interfaces for Ubiquitous Environments, Graphical Systems and Interaction, 3D Simulation and Animation, units for which he is responsible. He was also the coordinator of the undergraduate in Computer Engineering and two editions of short-cycles in the Development of Multimedia Products. As a professor, he is also frequently supervisor and jury member of several MsC dissertations and undergraduate course projects related to Computer Graphics, Virtual Environments, Augmented Reality, and Human-Computer Interaction, among others. He is a researcher in the Computer Graphics and Multimedia team of the Computer Science and Communications Research Center at Leiria Polytechnic Institute, Portugal. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, Portugal, in 2010. He has also a MsC in Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (2006). Nuno Rodrigues is the author and co-author of several papers in journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters in the areas of Computer Graphics, Virtual Environments, Augmented Reality, and Human-Computer Interaction, among others. He was also involved in the organization of several conferences and was also a guest editor for several international journals. He also holds a national patent and has been involved in several funded R&D projects related to his areas of research. He also has frequent activity in reviewing articles for numerous international journals and conferences. He is also a member of the Grupo Português de Computação Gráfica (Eurographics Portuguese Chapter). His major research interests include: Procedural Modelling, Virtual Reality, Virtual Heritage, Augmented Reality, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Twins.
