Short bio

Eugénia Moreira Bernardino is a professor in the Department of Computer Science, School of Technology and Management, Polytechnic of Leiria, Portugal. She received a PhD degree in Computer Science Technologies from the University of Extremadura in Spain. She is a researcher at the Computer Science and Communication Research Centre. Her research interests are in the area of communication networks and optimisation algorithms: local search methods, evolutionary algorithms and swarm optimisation techniques. In particular, her current research activity involves the study of optimisation algorithms to solve different optimization problems.
