Leonel Filipe Simões Santos is a Professor at the Computer Science Engineering Department at Superior School of Technology and Management, Polytechnic of Leiria (Portugal). He is a researcher, full member of the Computer Science and Communication Research Centre - CIIC, at Polytechnic of Leiria. He is a forensic computer expert, full member of the Cybersecurity and Computer Forensics Laboratory - LabCIF, at Polytechnic of Leiria. He received is PhD degree in University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (Portugal) in 2020 and received his BSc degree in Computer Science Engineering, from Polytechnic of Leiria (Portugal). Outside the education system, has worked as a Coordinator Professor at Senhor dos Milagres School (Portugal). His major research interests include Cybersecurity, Information and Networks Security, Internet of Things, Intrusion Detection Systems and Computer Forensics.
